From the sixties until 2000, it was a famous place with hovercrafts taking us on an air cushion to Great-Britain.
The Hoverport deconstruction is ending and if it is the end of an era with some nostalgia, it is the beginning of another one. The cleaned site will be first used for the storage of rocks, and Xblocs®, and become the future boarding area.
