Société d'Exploitation des Ports du Détroit

The Port of Boulogne Calais is operated by Société d’Exploitation des Ports du Détroit whose heardquarters are located in Calais. The first French fishing harbor Boulogne-sur-Mer and Calais, first French passenger port and 4th French port for goods, became the so called “Port Boulogne Calais” single port through a public service delegation granted by the owner of both ports, the Région Hauts-de-France”.

The Department of the Pas-de-Calais

The Department of the Pas-de-Calais (LIEN) maintains a significant investment line up to € 190 million for major projects such as the Seine-Nord Europe Canal, the high-speed broadband, the conversion of Cambrai-Epinoy air base 103, the development of Boulogne, Calais, Etaples ports, etc., building or renovating two middle-schools per year, building new roads, buildings, focus on culture and sport, on the future of intercommunal communities and municipalities, etc.

The Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie Côte d’Opale is born from the merger of Boulogne-sur-Mer, Calais and Dunkirk Chambers of Commerce and Industries and has been operating for a long time Boulogne and Calais ports.
