TRAINING TO PREVENT RISKS ON THE WHARF

Safety on the construction site is a priority for all design and construction joint venture companies. Every effort is made to ensure that everyone works in the best health and safety conditions with respect of prevention and protection rules and providing prior training sessions.

Regarding marine works, as for instance the breakwater construction, the design and construction joint venture companies did not hesitate to call on professionals to provide an adapted training allowing workers to have the best reflexes. Specially design training by LMSP Company to prevent risks at working on the wharf aims at getting to know the maritime environment risks, understand and experiment them and know how to react.

During half a day, Lilian Magnen and Sébastien Crochet of LMSP Company teached with their pedagogy and a high level of competence in scuba diving, not only how to get aware but also the right thing to do : training started first with the explanation of risks, then showing safety equipment required (life jacket, air bottle with integrated mouthpiece) to be added to the usual safety equipment and at last, an underwater breathing training with a bottle to set up a real-life situation and gradually give some background.

Each participant inside a building machine reconstructed cabin had to fall into water which was certainly an unforgettable experience to be better able to react and cope with such a situation.
