An emotional moment as the first ferry entered the new illuminated basin of Calais Port on Saturday evening, 8th May 2021.
The first successful mooring of P&O Ferries Spirit of France took place at 9.50pm and several loading tests on the RoRo floating gangway were then carried out throughout the night.
There is still work to be done to complete the new equipment testing but already a great satisfaction for this first successful trial.
