The VSOL© system is a supporting wall system combining prefabricated facing panels and reinforcing elements made of welded mesh.
Placed inside a compacted backfill and fixed at the back of the facing panels, these reinforcements give coherence to the construction and take back the external and internal forces applied. These three VSOL© system elements combined together (ground, reinforcements, concrete slabs) create a particularly stable and durable supporting wall
The prefabricated facing panels sometimes called “scales” are produced in the concrete plant also manufacturing the XBlocs®. They aim at building Calais Port 2015 engineering structure supports such as bridges and walls of the central exit road. This represents approximately 9,800 m2 of wall surface created, i.e. a little over 1,600 linear meters of structures.
