The Port Entrance Building is being erected.
Gables of the building “Front de Mer” for passengers awaiting boarding are completed and the metal framework is installed. Monitoring audits have already been launched particularly regarding the environmental part of these main buildings to be classified High Environmental Quality.
In addition to these future public venues, technical units are also being built: the emergency power station building will soon be available for the electricians with several premises housing the electrical loop of the port.
All other major buildings foundations are completed, and network connections are now being made around these buildings. We are now able to see the plans finally materialized in 3 dimensions with volumes erected on the platforms. This is the result of fruitful work exchanges with the future residents (customs, shipping companies, Air and Border Police, British authorities…) and the Port operator.
There will be an increase in the number of construction teams on site for the next steps.
