Current mooring of ships will be provided by quick release hooks with integrated capstan. This is a high-performance tool that can be operated remotely, replacing the bollard and making manoeuvring faster and safer.
P10 mooring dolphins are therefore equipped with 8 sets whereas P11/P12 ferry berths will have a total of 16 sets.
On the dolphins, both 2x75 ton double mooring hooks will be installed on platforms at 10.5CM, whose piles with a diameter of 2,500mm and a thickness of 28mm going down to -32CM.
The centre of dolphins will be located 11m from the docking front. They are implemented with a layout compatible with the companies’ existing vessels and those under design or construction.
